This study adopted a trans-disciplinary approach, integrating secondary data, citizen science and local knowledge to address a gap in understanding the link between climate change, environmental factors, and malaria incidences in Zimbabwe’s Chiredzi District. The research combined quantitative weather data from weather stations, malaria incidence data and insights from focus group discussions that gleaned people’s perceptions and knowledge on climate change and malaria.
