The study used a mixed-methods design involving a literature review and in-depth interviews with 29 key informants to address gaps in current practices for sharing climate data in Mozambique. The study also aimed to identify barriers and enablers to leveraging climate data for preparedness and describe actions or interventions underway by the national health system and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to improve sharing and use of climate data for outbreak preparedness and response.
