Together with the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), GLIDE is collating an inventory of incentives and incentivisation strategies used in the health, private and agricultural sectors, with a view to apply them to the disease elimination context.

First phase of incentives for disease elimination

The first phase of this research project consists of an extensive literature review with a focus on community health workers that deliver elimination interventions to their communities. This initial phase will document the role of incentives for disease elimination at sub-national level and lessons learned from programmes that successfully implemented incentive strategies.
