Launch of ‘Voices from Africa’ blog series

We are pleased to introduce our first blog series, Voices from Africa. Through this series and those to follow, we aim to highlight the experience and perspectives of public health experts from around the world who are focused on GLIDE’s diseases of focus: currently polio, malaria, lymphatic filariasis, and onchocerciasis.

For this first series, we are honoured to have blog posts from some prominent infectious disease experts from Africa whose mission in life is to achieve elimination and eradication of ancient disease of poverty: Dr Tunji Funsho, Ms Joy Phumaphi, Dr Yao Sodahlon, Professor Daniel Boakye, and Dr Nana-Kwadwo Biritwum. Our sincere thanks to each of these contributors for sharing their insights.
